The difference in the cost to run an AC because of this can be tremendous.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>It has a higher chance of an emergency breakdown:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nobody wants their AC to fail abruptly in the middle of summer. But without maintenance, this becomes a much greater possibility. Think of maintenance as an insurance plan against a cooling emergency.
